Kevin began studying and practicing yoga in 2000 and has been certified with the Yoga Alliance since 2005. He is a certified teacher of Anusara Yoga that focuses on therapeutic techniques of the body or what is referred to as Yoga Therapeutics. This is done through a unique set of concise bio-mechanical alignment principles called the Universal Principles of Alignment™, which are applied to each asana. Anusara yoga teachers are trained to integrate these alignment instructions, offering students a new experience of yoga in every class that promotes physical and emotional well-being.

As a consummate student of yoga and seeker of wholehearted living, he achieved his full Reiki Master initiation in 2015 and has been applying this and other energy modalities to all that he does. Currently Kevin teaches weekly and monthly classes and workshops in New York City as well as retreats and trainings worldwide.

With a focus on alignment and flow, Kevin encourages deeper mindfulness, orientation and attunement within the postures. Known for his lighthearted approach, Kevin brings enthusiasm and a whole heart into the room, commanding large spaces with professionalism, fun and vibrancy. His classes are challenging, creative and inspiring as he guides his students to go beyond preconceived notions of who they are and what they can do on the mat. Most importantly, he is dedicated to helping people of all ages experience the joys of a yoga practice and conscious living.

private yoga sessions

Sessions are held in the privacy of your own home. If you are looking to deepen your yoga practice, begin one, or have an intention to advance your alignment and explore greater health, this is a great option.

reiki

Reiki is considered an alternative medicine modality and is a healing technique developed in 1922 by Japanese Buddhist Mikao Usui. It is particularly helpful in addressing the energy flow (ki) within one’s body. The practitioner channels energy to the recipient by means of a light touch, activating the natural healing processes of the recipient’s body to restore physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being.

Private Reiki sessions are 60 minutes long and are held in the privacy of your own home. Normally the treatment is done lying down, but can also be performed sitting in a chair. Wearing loose, comfortable clothing is recommended. Note that it's common to fall asleep during the treatment due to its gentle and relaxing nature.

Kevin is certified as a Reiki Master and is both a practitioner and teacher. He offers private healing Reiki sessions as well as group training workshops for Reiki I and II attunements.

Using oils as a healing modality is ancient practice that is now being utilized alongside modern medicine for a multitude of ailments and conditions. Oils have been said to promote the health of mind, body, and spirit through their aromatherapy usage.

They are often used for their many physical benefits, including: promoting healthy immune function, relieving minor aches and pains, promoting wellness of the respiratory and digestive systems, playing a critical role in seasonal wellness, soothing skin irritations and acting as non-toxic, powerful household cleaners and purifiers.

Oils are an integral part of Kevin's practice and he can teach you how to incorporate them into your daily life.
